Sam hates Bruce Springsteen because Trump or something.

Quote:
Hey Bruce, you want to make a difference? Why don’t you gather up the change in your couch, which would be enough for your own Super Bowl ad, and tell everyone who’s a fan of yours that also is claiming the country was stolen from them to burn all the albums of yours they own because you don’t want them as fans? I’ll be over here waiting for that. Until then, fuck all the way off with your performative drivel and empathy.

Check out Serena Williams’s Flo-Jo tribute outfit at the Australian Open. The best wearing the best. Truly our Queen.

And promptly ends this post with performative drivel and empathy.

hasn't Bruce had some youtube series talking directly to his fans about the subject since COVID began?

He certainly says these things at his concerts, 50K at a time and reaches more people than Serena does with her stupid dress

Isn't Springsteen about as left as they come? These woke soy boys need a new compass.

Maybe Sam should start ending all his columns with updates on the state of Narnia, seeing as how he's so deep in the closet.

Y'all Qaeda? Insurrectionists are fans of Springsteen? I'm not quite sure if that's accurate but I bet Curious Hair would be able to address that one.

It's disappointing that someone like Bruce Springsteen, who told Reagan to quit using "Born in the USA" because he didn't know what it was really about, is now an advocate for centrism or something. However, I can't think of many straight white men the insurrectionists would like to listen to less than Bruce Springsteen.

He performed at the Biden inauguration, and never supported Trump. It's a strange thing to try to smear him with, but he's old and white so fuck him. Deserves to die.

I don't think this is making the point you want to make.

EDIT: Didn't his own union just get fucked over by a big business?

Well also the snide remark about the racial makeup of writers as well in that "piece".

Bruce has been well cemented with the Democratic party since Reagan and probably before. I like his music just fine, but have always found his political stances laughable, just as I find Ted Nugent's political ramblings ridiculous. The ad was stupid. I can agree with Fels hatred of Springsteen, but his rambling article was even dumber and more pointless than the commercial.

This part made me laugh out loud:

Quote:
The ad featured the Springsteen, who is extremely well known for being from New Jersey, wearing a cowboy hat and boots, small earrings in each ear. He appeared to have continued his regular upkeep of plastic surgery.

It's funny...I like Springsteen's music and can't stand Nugent's...has absolutely nothing to do with their political stance.

It's pretty pathetic that MANY like Sam Fels find it necessary to align political belief with quality of work.

Also, Y'allQueda made me laugh audibly.

This is really fair. Add Bono to Bruce and Ted. Shut up and play.

in terms of putting an actual sentence together, Fels is sadly better than Fonseca, Spector, Foote, Phillips or second grade reading level Rob Parker. This is what Deadspin is.

The Stars are an epic bacon meme team for suburban dorks. They're not the choice of white supremacists.

Taking the Nagyesque approach to the English language, find it incredibly annoying when Nagy starts every sentence with "So", makes one wonder how he ever passed English 101.
