Geez. I had to ask.

He looks like a really ugly Al Franken without glasses.

Kid Cairo, the OG is the Tiger Woods of sports radio--truly a pioneer. Such a great guy that his family fled from the trailer park to find the nearest computer to come to his defense! A point in time where you could log on at any hour of the day and know at least one section would be updated. I miss those days. The day the OG got run out of Chicago, a little piece of me died inside...

OG lives. Live Streaming OG.

I just realized that I had never made a post to this thread. In a way, it's like losing my virginity all over again. Of course, in another, more accurate way, it's not like that at all.

So in other words, you decided to prematurely submit this post before you were ready.

I think this thread should be a mandatory read for all new posters. It takes a few days to get through it but it's worth it.

Almost everyone has appeared on it at some point, and it veers back and forth on different topics. Also, it'll give you an idea as to who certain people are, like AFAKAPB.

I don't think I have posted here, either. I'm not about to double check, though.

It certainly shows the benefits of preventing "guests" from posting.

Actually, I think the thread demonstrates how the board suffered when registration became a prerequisite for posting.

I think they should bring back the Guest feature on this site.

I took the four hours required to go back and read this whole thread again, and found it about five times more amusing than the last time I read it.

The best part were some of the guest names. Hilarious.

Around the "Everyday is Juday" incident, I was the lone person to say that he wasn't a horrible on-air personality, but then ripped him after that intern incident where his wife tracked them down. After that, he send an email to my AOL, for the first time, trying to give me his side of the story.

After he left ESPN 1000, he emailed a second time, telling me he's so glad to be gone and that everyone in Texas is a lot nicer. He then asked me who the owner of the board is, as he put it, "is responsible for the content" on the board.

I replied to him, just saying I don't know who owns the board, but asked him politely why he felt it was necessary to defend himself on the board the way he (and his family did). He never replied back.

I still have the email and was going to post it... it's nothing really worthy, but at the end, decided its probably not a good idea.

This kinda came out of nowhere.....

Just telling a story, in the spirit of keeping this thread alive, showing how much of a tool he acted like.

Don't be a tease, Marty. Post the email. We need more fodder for the grill.
