Do they do ITunes?

Yes, you can get the podcasts off Itunes

How do you find them ? What's the search words? North's show is easy to find....Not so much for the others.

My take on Chet & Boom Boom is it's not bad enough to be fun bad. It's real bad, there's no question, but not bad enough.

Boom Boom only seems to be able to talk about old movies and his interview technique boils down to asking people if they know guys that he knows.

I loved Matthew Broderick in Ferris Buehrle's Day Off.

I'm noticing a pronounced slow down in the posts in this thread. Could it be that the first day was the "slowing down to watch a car wreck" effect :-)

I'm watching Boom Boom get his ass kicked circa 1985 on ESPN2. This is so old, Mills Lane had hair, kinda. I can't help but thing that is having an effect all these years later.

For those interested, at 4:30 today Ray will discuss the tragedy of his fight with Duk Ku Kim and the aftermath. Just letting you all know.

I actually tried to listen to this when the white sox game was on. I'm in ohio listening on the computer anyways, so all I was getting was some replay crap of M and H. So I had on the mini monsters. It was ok for five minutes, then it just got old and annoying. I will not listen to north, but I will try to listen to webby, if not just to hear him play some more lawrence arms on the intro and outros.

I have not heard any of it, but I would not expect it to be bad, but we can revist the issue today.

High costs and low listenerhsip/hits, how long does that last until they get WiFi rolling in cars as a standard feature.

Or really get the Aux feature working

I have given it a listen and so far Webby and Fred are decent. And Boom Boom is just as awful as everyone had said. I hope they didnt sign him to any guaranteed money cause if they paired Chet with somebody who is a functioning member of society with a little bit of wit then the show might actually be decent. But Boom Boom makes Hampton seem coherent. Bad hiring decision.

What was the logic of hiring this Boom Boom guy? He can't speak. That should have eliminated him from the start....Chet's the one guy who can probably do a solo show for 3 hours every day, especially since they will probably have guests each day. Also, in the 10 minutes I heard, it's very clear that these guys aren't in the same studio. Very painful. Get rid of that guy.

Early canidate for thread of the year. Dr Ken OTM IMHO. Bam Bam sounds like a Cheech Marin character from the Big Bambu days, plus he's sitting about 10 feet away from the mic. I give Pappy credit for starting the new station and fully believe that the future of radio is online for the next twenty or thirty years before the internets is extinct. But who hires an ex-boxer to host a talk show? Boxers are all brain dead and doped up. It was fun bad for about 10 minutes and then it just got bad. And as someone mentioned, Chet really needs to move past the '80s.

For those of you resigned to its doom, I have good news and bad news. First, the bad news, I downloaded an iPhone app over the weekend that allows me to listen to Sirius Radio streaming on my iPhone, which is great. (Un)Fortunately [depending on your view], I can also listen to CSWebio. So, this morning on my drive to work, as a test, I was listening to live streaming audio of Monsters in the Morning in my car.

The good news for those of you who hate Pappy is that it cost me $10 and the odds of anybody doing what I did, i.e. paying for it, are slim and none. Although, I'm sure a free app is on the way but you'd still need an iPhone or some kind of device that picks up a network.

It worked pretty well though, didn't drop out at all. I mean the audio didn't drop. I can't say the same about my intelligence level.

the content will sink this ship, not the access to it.

north/jiggs---suck
webby/fred--suck a little less
doyle/hood--not very good
chet/boom---disaster

with a microscopic listening audience and in the worst economy for advertising in the past 65 years, why will companies pay good money to advertise on this web network?

north hustled this hernandez dude. lots of money to hang out with a washed up 57yr old d-bag and his friends

Can you pay that $10 on an installment plan?

So I am waiting for the Cubs game to start and there is nothing on espn or 670 that is on right now that I have interest in listening to so I tune in the webio. And the mini monsters are interviewing......Mike North. Was horrible radio. Lasted 5 minutes of myyyyyyy guyyyyyyyy and then had enough. Back to music for me. The webio would have been better served if they had more talent. The only show that is salvagable is Huebs and Webber.

The complaint I have so far with Hood and Doyle is that they are trying to be more entertaining than just talking about the sports issues of the day. Too much of Doyle stories of going after women.

I'm not ready to give up on Doyle yet but, I agree, he sounds like he's trying a little too hard. His interview with Erik Kramer last week, Doyle pissed Kramer off by laughing at him. I think North was pissed at him today too when North called him a stuttering idiot or something like that - completely in jest, of course.

Hood is still worth listening though, especially compared to the competition.

I am not being facetious here but who the hell is Tim Doyle? Should I know him from something? Cause I have never heard of this guy and he sucks.

He's a New York guy, transferred from St Johns to finish up playing college basketball at Northwestern about 2 years back. Has a good personality so he parlayed that into a analyst job on Big Ten network, and I believe he subbed a few times on some weekend shows on The Score.

Dr ken, yeah he pissed off North with the comment about "What, you want me to say I cheat on my wife" or something like that...Doyle said it was a Goodfellas line but I think North might have took it as jab...someone guilty?

Wow I don't know if playing your college ball at Northwestern qualifies you for a radio gig in this town. He comes off as a blowhard and he seems like a New Yorker. Between him Boom Boom and North there are alot of dipshits on this stream.
