North has always based his picks on pure contrarianism. I doubt he does any research but at most he is either looking at where the bets are being placed in Vegas or calling up a local and going opposite. It buried him in the past.

From what I can gather from the latest video, North tweeted out that the Bookie Priest went 2-0, even thought he went 1-1. It seems like people called him out for it on twitter. Although I can't blame him for the mistake, when you do very little research into the picks, and don't even know the spreads in most of the games, how can you remember who you picked?

In short, back in the days where stations didn't empty the benches for holidays, North drew the day after Thanksgiving shift. There are a few college games that day each year and North was giving his capping as game times approached. He stated something like "for those without a guy go see ____ at _____ bar".

Now, ____ has spent some time on forced vacation during his years and wasn't very happy about hearing his name on the radio.

Since Mike Nort the Bookie Priest didn't pick any games this week. My question is, to anyone with any real insight, what benefit does the guy who runs phillygodfather see in North? I'm assuming they charge rather large dollars for a monthly subscription, so what does the BP add to the site? Does he inspire confidence in the subscribers?

It is like going to a nice steakhouse and seeing a cat being slaughtered in the kitchen.

My thought is that Nort did his usual hustling and bullshitting routine with the people that run the site. He probably sold them on the idea that he would be able to pull clients from the Chicago market.
