Somebody is going to get their ASS KICKED!@!!

I hope Laurence is out with a few ladies and not checking that mess of a website.

That picture is proof positive that Laurence is a man of the people and thus put on earth to lead us in our hour: you know he has fatty connects to White Sox tickets, however, there he is with the commoners in the upper deck!

BTW: RING THE SIRENS GENTLEMAN, ZACH IS GOING TO DO THE PEOPLE'S HOUR @ 9PM!!! THIS IS A RADIO "THING"

Actually this has been a horribly weak BAKE THAT segment... without Laurence around, I haven't heard the Pulse of the Streets, and now my yellow pad isn't filled up with new hip ebonics terms to use in everyday life. Dammit!

THE PEOPLE'S HOUR WITH ZACH ZAIDMAN (t-shirts coming soon!)

I'm going kujoe with this one, since it's a rare indelible treat. Forgive me, Lord, for I have sinned...

- Out of a late update, HARD BAKE shows up and talks from ~9:06-9:20 or thereabouts. I would do a disservice to Ryan Baker to try and sum up his brilliance in a little recap so I shan't desecrate his greatness by doing so.

[ Commercials ensue. ]

- We found out that Zach's two favorite rap groups are A Tribe Called Quest and EPMD (the headbanger!)

- A caller called up and asked Zach, in his experience, to say why DePaul sucks. He spent damn near the whole segment cushioning the blow, you know how Zach is with talking about problems with teams he covers.

[ scoreboard update ]

- Thanks to a "texter", we got to hear more about Zach's bracket. He feels like an idiot going against Kemba Walker. Blah blah blah blah blah. He likes Duke with Kyrie Irving... what do we think? OUR CALLS NEXT!

[ commercial ]

- A texter says Zach and Jason are excellent on DePaul games. Caller wants to hear more about Zach's bracket that, surprise, has Syracuse going far! Zach quickly points out that many experts have them going far and gives us the kind of quality argument that makes us G-reg Olsen supporters smile. Blah blah blah ensues.

- He reminds us that Laurence Holmes is his broadcast partner for DePaul basketball, and then tells us that tonight's big story is NOT the Heat loss, but Jeff Green having a good game for the Celtics. He then spells doom for us Bulls fans by saying that the Heat are going to keep getting better and the Knicks are coming, therefore, this might be the "most friendly path" to winning a title with this nucleus.

- He's going to take a timeout now, and he tells us what, when he comes back he's going to being in Matt Abbatacola and build a bridge to the 10pm show. Will he give us the extra ~30 minutes of tranny time that Laurence and Matt routinely give us? Who knows. All I know is that Matt is less of an insufferable douche with someone else in these extended trannys, so that's a net win.

FINAL TOTALS FOR THE PEOPLE'S HOUR

- 15+ minutes of hard bake
- 2 calls (at least the "why does DePaul suck so much" one felt real)
- 2 texts
- ~10-15 minutes of Zach pontificating about the NCAA tournament
- The 2 greatest rap groups of all time

Laurence needs to hurry back.... cuz HOLY SHIT I JUST REALIZED THAT TODAY IS WEDNESDAY AND ON WEDNESDAYS THE PEOPLE'S HOUR IS SUPPOSED TO BE HATER WEDNESDAY!!@

# kujoe_8 out.

Sinicalypse is black? That's funny, I always imagined him being neon pink and orange.

This is really strange. It's not bad strange. It's just strange that the Score is webcasting two guys watching a few basketball games while an actual show is on the radio.

LoHo actually knows his college basketball though. Of course that comes from his DePaul job but I'm impressed.

I realize that WSCR 670 The SCORE is owned by CBS, which explains why CBS2's Ryan Baker is a regular on Laurence's show following the 9p "Scoreboard Update" on nights there is a full show, but come on! I don't need to hear the remix of Ryan coughing! That's so unprofessional! Get rid of that crap!

So, you listen.

Give in SHARK. No one is as consistently entertaining as Sir Laurence. Spots are running out aboard the LOHO train.

Guys, I either turn the radio down all the way or I listen to something else completely when that Ryan Baker guy comes on the Holmes show...

Laurence's tale of perseverance in the face of a bad day, one that even required him to expend his copious athletic talents to dive in a dumpster, was truly inspiring.

Some odd homoerotic theater on the LoHo show yesterday:

"Some say Darwin Barney is hot. I mean--blazing hot. But he's not. But...whatever."
