I know that since Mark Grote became a full-time SCORE employee last August, he's not just the designated update guy on "Mully & Hanley in the Morning". He's also the guy who replaced Brian "The Whipping Boy" Paruch as Steve Rosenbloom's co-host on the Saturday morning show from 8a-Noon. As for Dennis McKinnon, when he was a regular last football season with "Boers & Bernstein" the day after a Bears' game, he always sounded like he either didn't want to be there or said something mean about his former team. I can't picture McKinnon & Grote teaming on The SCORE.

That being said, while WSCR 670 The SCORE has been under the CBS Radio umbrella for many years now, I can't remember the last time management hired someone from outside the market to host a local sports talk show, even when Diamond Broadcasting owned WSCR & sister station 93XRT back in the day.

More info has been revealed in that section.

Larry might do both. Be at the Score and work some assignments for NBC 5. During the Sox season he's a part timer at the Score any way. So he can do more NBC 5 stuff during these months. Then in the fall and winter he can do more night time Score shows and less NBC 5.

That's probably what's gonna happen. It's a damn shame. Larry will now have two outlets to hate on white people. :(

You're forgetting to mention a certain attorney for the job.

Good point, I'd pay to hear transition between B&B and Crane Kenney.

SHARK, could you have pictured Hamp and Holmes getting the afternoon slot before they actually did a few years ago?

They didn't get the afternoon slot, but SCORE Program Director Mitch Rosen handed LoHo the 10a-Noon weekday shift on a silver platter when "Mully & Hanley" took over morning drive a few years ago. That was as bad as hiring his "Stuttering" John Melendez sound-alike partner.

The same applies to Laurence, who hasn't even reached the pinnacle of his power and influence over all media, let alone chicago media, let alone Der Schnorr.
