Btw, there are like @ least 4 games on tv any time throughout the day on Saturday. Any ratings you show will be skewed by the viewer flipping between games... Real sports fans multi task.

Ok. Let's see the ratings, and fantasy football is the burritoest thing I've ever seen. Bunch of grown ass men running around talking about stat tracking when they should be, amongst other things, raising their kids better...

I don't talk about my fantasy team to anybody. And I don't have kids. There's a website that gives ratings for TV programs. I forget the name of it. You could google "TV ratings" and find it. Compare a College Saturday night game on ABC to SNF or MNF. NFL always wins. Don't get me wrong, college ratings are pretty good too. Just not as big as the NFL.

So this web site you refer to has city by city comparisons as to ratings? Of course the mnf game will win when the abc game on Saturday is one option out of 5...

For your edit: I never said, and never would say college football is bigger than the nfl... I just think its narrow-minded, lazy, and pathetic the score can't attempt to cover college sports more w/o feeling like they are stepping on Northwesterns toes by not talking about them... Or w/e the fuck the excuse is, its fucking lame.

I'm not asking for NCAAF to dominate weekday shows but how about something on Saturday mornings.

They used to have great shows with Steve Silverman on Saturday afternoons where they would go around the NCAAF football world for updates and highlights. They did they same thing for the NFL. I long for the days of Julie Swieca getting a scoring summary from Dana Wakigi live from Detriot.

They have joe o and connor do something like this on the weekends, but its just not good or even remotely informative.

No, it doesn't help. However, driving down Lincoln Avenue and seeing flags of a different Big 10 team on every corner, I am fairly confident you could get people to listen to some non Illini/Cats discussion.
Chicago is a weird college sports town. There is no dominant team that you can cover but the Big Ten + Notre Dame fan base is huge. It's a chicken and egg thing though. Chicago radio mostly ignores it, and shows like B&B do it very badly unless they bring in someone else who can at least temporarily stop them from doing their shtick. Therefore, people don't go to Chicago radio to hear talk on it.

I was amazed last week when I was driving around in my car and I turned on the Fan here in New York and they were all over college football. NYC is probably the worst major college sports town and yet it was better than anything I ever heard about national college football in Chicago outside of DiNardo and Charles Davis on MJH.

Pravda.

A different level of talent or work ethic gets a broader or more enriched coverage of sports. NYC is one prime example but not the only example.

It literally does not get better than Michael Hayes gyrating and carooning about Georgia.

I would trust Kendall Gill on fashion just as much as I would trust him regarding the imminence of NBA trades/signings.

Spectacular. Unknown fact: Jason grew up on Bad Street in Evanston, IL.

I do not doubt it.

So Jason is obviously the Michael Hayes of Team BernStine. Matt would be Terry Gordy. Herb is now Buddy Roberts.

Would Dave Miska be Jimmy Jam Garvin?

Grilling Randazzo. Outstanding. By the way, I was there for a Connor McKnight's first day. He did get the business.
