Nothing wrong with that, Frank. You don't like him, so you don't listen.

You leave the threads about Laurence Holmes' sex life to the weirdos...

Not a bit.

I take my vow to call out bullshit this year very seriously. If people "don't like" someone and "never listen", then they have no fodder for all this discussion. People here are clearly obsessed with certain radio personalities and I am simply holding up a mirror for them.

...the least I can do...

That's fair.

But in all seriousness, you kinda do at least see why Doug might have been a little put off by Laurence in that situation though, right?

I didn't see it as that big of a deal. Laurence was nice enough to sign the ball and Doug knows that was an attempt at humor. Even if it wasn't that funny...

He wasn't being funny and it did not come off as an attempt at humor. It was clear he was slightly annoyed with his display of incredulity. I didn't ask him to sign the ball in any particular place, I just gave it to him. If it was a 12 year old kid, I doubt that he would have reacted that way.

And I do listen to his show...and I spell his name correctly too!

No disrespect intended, Doug, but getting North, Holmes and Zederman's autographs on a football for what possible reason? I hope you realize that some poor bovine animal gave up its life to have its hide defiled in that manner.

Since you asked...
The ball was given to me signed by Buffone, Rivera, and Glen Kozlowski, back in 1995 when I was at UIC hospital pediatric oncology. I was subsequently invited to the Score and did 45 minutes of radio with North and Jiggs 18 years ago this month. They then signed the ball. Terry and Dan signed the ball after the "Jiggetts, North, & White" show.
In 2005 or so, I started going to MJH remotes. I had them sign the ball...and from Manniversarry and INFEAT golf outings, I was able to get Waddle, Silvy, Carmen, and many others to sign the ball.
I was missing Berns, Spiegs, Grobber, Lawrence, and had them sign it when they were at RUBBQ on December 20th.

The ball is one of a kind and 18 years old.
The ball is also made of rubber, so no cows were killed as part of its construction.

So, there you go...

I dont think that's a tuck. I think thats just the elastic of the hoodie gripping.

Laurence has gained some weight

Hoodie tucked into jeans? Since when did Laurence morph into Andrew "McLovin" Perloff, the nerdy-looking blogger on "The Dan Patrick Show"?

I don't know if that's a plastic background, but I saw something similar when The SCORE was stationed at NBC Tower...

I don't think that's a tuck. He has a pair of brass knuckles in each pocket of the hoodie, causing the elastic to pull up.

He might use those knuckles if DePaul keeps losing Big East games.

And then after that he would rip that type of guy on his show.

He DOES have a pretty severe hatred/distrust of women. Listen to him when he's talking about women in general or a non media woman
