That stuff has been going on forever in radio. Way back when it was producers that told callers to say they were first time caller or on a cell phone in order to let others know to call in. Terry said the first couple months they couldn't get people to call. I love to listen but talk radio is just one big manipulation.

Guys, that's because Judd Sirott is also the pre/postgame for the WGN/Cubs Radio Network, while Jim Memolo takes over for Sirott on Blackhawks' duty come baseball season on 720 AM.

But again, he (Sirott) isn't an "insider" free to speak. He's on the payroll, just like Zac is for the Bears. Do you think honestly that either man is going to be truthful about the teams they are so-called "insiders" about?

McKnight, who did updates on the "Mac & Spiegs Show" earlier today, will team with Joe Ostrowski at 6P this eve. Wayne Randazzo, who will be on update duty on that show, will follow @ 10P.

In the early days of the Score, I'm pretty sure the station provided some form of compensation to "star callers" (Wild Bill, Cicero Bob, Irish Bill, etc) for their contributions (That's what guys like Jauss and Gleason used to say at least). It wouldn't be shocking if something similar is happening with Laurence's posse.
