I have nothing to back this up, but I think the whole OG nickname was made up to make fun of Ogulnik. Probably because he's so stuck up and thinks he's so tough, it's fitting that he thinks he's the Original Gangsta. So they call him that to rip on his ass.

Guys, you have other hosts who are constantly talking about themselves, Silvy, Carmen, Hood, JD and you never break bad on them. Mike talks about himself for 2 minutes and everyone becomes a hater. I think the negative nonsense on this thread is from bitter jealous producers at ESPN and laid off SNR employees.

The posters who claim they worked for SNR are full of BS and have no idea why Mike left SNR. They are just jealous and bitter because Mike was able to move up to ESPN.

Sporting News Radio used to have a signal in Chicago (820 AM), but the ratings were so bad they sold the signal. Yes, Mike was a tool back then, and it seems he's still a tool. Ask "the OG" about missing an update because of making personal phone calls. That, and boring and annoying the entire staff was his non-stop political agenda. Respond to that "Guest" (or should I say Mike).

This is remarkable - more posts than the $1.7 million man. Although half the posts have come from (apparently) OG and company.

Kind of like that appaling "phone tree" concept promoted by the CPD in all the CAPS meetings. The idea is that the incident is more likely to be given a priority for dispatching officers if it's confirmed by multiple emergency calls from different sources preferably "registered" as a "phone tree."

Looks like the clan extrapolated this concept onto an internet message board.
