Unquestionably, the time has come for admittance to the facts at hand. Of course, I am palehose23. Certainly, everyone can understand my love for Larry Holmes. He was a role model for Michael Jordan in my early years after I saw his compassionate handling of the legendary Cassius Clay in their battle. He put a beatin' on that man to some degree and then held that degree back to some degree.

No, Laurence/Lawrence/Larry-Poo. I've been in my profession for 26 years. I'm not switching careers just to show you how its done. But even if were a fresh high school grad, why would I go into something that pays low wages at the producer level, again, just to show you how its done?

We haven't been told much over here about the Sox analyst job. Remember that the announcement about Stone came right before Spring Training last year, so I don't really know what the timeline would be.

Going back to the topic slightly, I will say that Laurence is one of my best friends at the station and has been a tremendous help to me in my career. My job isn't to critique shows, that's your guys job and I'll leave it up to you. Just saying from a personal standpoint, there haven't been many more helpful people in terms of helping young producers here at the Score learn about the business than Laurence.

That's your opinion and you're more than entitled to it. I love this board because it gives you guys a chance to talk about what you like and what you don't. I've been here at the station 5 years and always like reading what you guys have to say. I know that many of you don't like Laurence's show, and that's up to you. But just beacause you don't like his show doesn't mean that he isn't a helpful presence to many of us here. I would never try to argue that you're wrong about what you think about his show. It's up to everyone's own individual tastes. I'll tell you that I know Webby and Goffman are working hard to put together a good show, and Laurence and Dan are working just as hard on the other side of the glass. Have a good weekend guys.

1.Thanks, some of you posters have proven my point. You continue to be immature and are avid listeners of the Score (especially the Hamp and Holmes show) thanks for your support
2. You will listen to the show if you have a strong opinion about it etiher good or bad. i.e. how players and coaches would say that they didn't read Marriotti's column but every time I go into the Clubhouse they know exacTly (Are you happy Webby?) what he wrote and were pissed at him.
3. I'm am not Tim Bock - unlike me Timmy is a good person and find goodness in all people. I, on the other hand, don't suffer fools lightly and will point out your B.S. when I see it.
4. If you don't care who is writing this post then this should be the end of this Thread and you should move on to hating Laurence (by the way as a poster pointed out he doesn't like to be referred to as Larry)
5. I know some of you have bad radio taste because you said that you like Salisbury, Rosenbloom and Baum?! WHAT. Now the Chat Champ is a great Radio host so I can see why you would like him but Rosenbloom (Julie lover) and Salisbury are radio retards.
6. Some of the posters here have valid points about the Show and Laurence in particular. Those thoughts are much appreciated because you do not have to resort to calling people out of their names to make an intelligent post.
7. Keep it up- I enjoy the banter between the fans of the show and us producers

P.S. Baby McNown- I went to ICB a long time ago and know a lot about the industry. If you have listened to the score for all these years you would know exactly who I am. I don't hide, you can come to most of the remotes and see me.

I think its funny that 4 producers from WSCR have participated in this thread and zero have said that they think the show is good.

Ok palehose23, here's a simple question: Why do you choose to not reveal your identity, when other producers like Rock, Webby, and Tim Bock have no problem doing so. In my opinion, it makes you look bad when you come on to chastise people yet you can't even tell us who you are.
