Thank God. The non-stop questions were a painful read. Everyone understands your point of view.

I may have to, but I'm trying to be accessible to you guys.

Can you pass onto your superiors that you need an iphone/ipod touch application for streaming?

This could work when "webio" is easily accessable in cars. There is much more effort in trying to listen on the web and I feel that they won't really get the casual listener this way. It's much easier to just turn on the radio and click on a channel and listen while your commuting or stuck in traffic. Listening on the web at home or work has a lot more variables, such as the quality of your computer and firewall, work policies, having a good bandwidth, etc....

The talent is there, but getting everyone to use this medium may be a bit tricky.

An iPhone app will be critical for the success of this project. It will at least put you one step ahead of ESPN 1000. I can get the Score streaming through the AOL Radio App which works really well. Also another medium for advertising or you can add it as a perk for your best clients.

I understand Jeff, it makes sense. Right now we're hoping to get an Iphone app soon, but for now we can be streamed via Wunder Radio.

Tim, do you think CSWebio will follow the Score practice of ignoring the existence of this board? I know Webby and Fred know we are here and I suspect Hood does as well. Mac used to make good use of the board to provide a bit of content for the show as it served his purpose.

I would think, especially early on when I imagine calls and emails might be light, that it might give you The Pulse of what the fans are thinking without actually branding it The Pulse of course.

Or will Pappy put the silencer on hosts about this site since there has been the Off Again/Off Again love affair with Pappy from guys on this site?

Well, I'm here and I've told them that I will be communicating with you guys. There's no resistance to that. We brought the site up in one of our meetings as something we can reach out to. As you know, Fred and Webby know a lot of you guys. I'm sure J does too. If nothing else I'll be accessible to you guys (I know that's not too exciting) but I'm hoping that a lot of our guys will be.

David Hernandez is the one that's in charge really, and there's been no one telling us what we can/can't do in terms of communicating with you guys.

I just turned it on 30 minutes ago for the first time and the entire time until just now was North sucking himself off about how great the webio is. Uh, care to talk SPORTS considering the Cutler trade and the fact that it's opening day in baseball? Think it might be a good idea? Instead it's a 30 minute circle jerk the first time I tune in. Not a good start.

Well, every phone with internet access can access the audio. And people do have the means to connect their phone to the car via bluetooth or headphone jack, so it's not like it's really THAT far off.

I think they recognize they are a little ahead of the curve, but I don't think they are too far ahead that they are really limiting themselves TOO much.

I know what you're saying Chris. The problem is when you have those lazy types that don't want to do all that stuff. They're definitely taking a risk here, but sometimes the most successful ventures were big risks.

Yeah, if there was a J Hood ALS I'd be in it, but this Doyle guy, who I've never even heard before in my life, makes the show unlistenable.

No doubt. I'm 24, so figuring this type of thing out is easy for me. But for some of the not so young, it might not be as obvious.

Yeah, I've gotta think that the advertising demographics have changed a bit for the webio.

I think it's funny, though not surprising, that people want this to fail just because Pappy is involved. I don't care who is involved. I think it's great. I now have another option for live Chicago sports talk when I'm at my desk.

Immediately, they have me from 1-2pm everyday that I'm at my desk at that time. It's Hood vs. National vs. Murph and Hood wins. They probably won't have me at any other time of the day but I liked Webby and Fred's show this morning and might sample it at other times.

I doubt I'll even try Chet and the Champ and I used to love Chet but that was 25 years ago. That show seems so dated that I might have to put on parachute pants and listen to it on a Commodore 64.

What do I care who runs it? I've got nothing against Pappy and I hate ESPN National. So, as a consumer, this is good for me for as long as it lasts. Good luck, Webio people.

Dr Ken, that's pretty much my thoughts. Except instead of parachute pants and a C64, it would be a high top fade and Atari 2600 for me :P

Thanks Doc, appreciate you giving us a chance. We're working hard. The past couple weeks have been incredibly stressful, but I'm happy we're on the air. We've had good guests today, and all we want is for people to give us a listen. We're hoping you like what you hear.

I feel the same way as Ken.

When you guys go to the northtonorth page do you get a couple lines of naughty words for about 5 seconds before the homepage loads?

Doyle and Hampton-Separated at birth??? I don't know who stutters worse on air, please discuss. This guy is terrible though even aside from the stuttering he hasn't presented a coherent thought in 2 hours. Hood sounds good though and I'm with the Dr. Between Silvy and Waddle and B&B I'll probably listen to this for that hour. I just hope Doyle improves a LOT.

The Doctor spelled out my thoughts too.

During the CBB season Doyle was on the Score and ESPN a few times talking Big Ten basketball, and I really enjoyed him. He was much more laid back and relaxed, and I remember thinking he would be a good regular. Listening to him today, he just sounds a little nervous. I bet he gets better.

They definitely have the 1-2 slot on lock for now... it's not even close.

Yeah, the "ah ah ah ah" gets a bit annoying, but I can identify with that.

One more thought; why don't they have Webby and Fred on from 9-12? That would make it three hours for each show. I'd much rather hear a little more of Webby and Fred, and a little less of Hoody and Doyle (no offense).

Yes.

Looks like someone might be playing a little Google search trick on Pappy or something.

Add that to the fact that he's from New York so he has that whole NY vibe about him too.
