Spin? I guess you don't need to win conference finals to reach the finals. The Bulls were very fortunate to win the Finals in '93 and even more in '98. Here's what I actually said:
Quote:
The Bulls were very fortunate to win the Finals in '93 and even more in '98. Without the no-call on Jordan, they would've played Game 7 in Utah with Scottie Pippen not nearly at 100%.

I'm not backing down from that statement. Do you forget how fucked up Pippen's back was? Jordan had to win Game 6 by himself. Could he have done it again in Game 7? It was hardly certain. Therefore the no call was very fortunate. Get it?

Actually, I should've included '92 also, if only for the Charles Smith game. The blocks were clean but a foul call wouldn't have been surprising, given what happened the following year in the infamous Hue Hollins game. But whatever—I'm disparaging your hero, fine: Jordan and the Bulls could do no wrong, had nothing break their way. It's just my opinion, as you have yours. If you think that's the dumbest thing ever written on this board, you haven't been reading very long.

Bigger point: what is your fucking problem? I don't know why I've enraged you. It's not reciprocated.

I'm sure you could take every team that ever won a championship in every sport and go through their playoff run and find a game or two where a call or a bounce went their way. Just like I guarantee you could go through those same games and find a call or bounce that didn't go their way. To say that a team is lucky to win a title because you can point to one questionable call is a joke. Calls go both ways, every team gets breaks just like every team gets burned by bad calls. No one is lucky to win because of the refs. The refs are part of the game.

You want to point out the questionable no call vs Utah? I guarantee there was a play earlier in the game where the Bulls got screwed out of 2pts by a bad call going the other way. Is called basketball.

If you want to say that MJ was fortunate to win because of one missed call then you need to say that every team that ever won a title is also fortunate to win. Kobe is fortunate to win a title this year according to your logic since the Magic got screwed by the refs in a couple games.

Sorry I hurt your feelings, but you said something really f-ing stupid so go smack yourself in the head and never do it again.

D. Other (murder).

I demand an autopsy! Can I do that as a random citizen? Is that part of our rights under the freedom of information act?

Kobe's Lakers are a bad example. They were clearly the better team. The teams I referenced—the '92 Knicks, the '93 Suns, the '98 Pacers and '98 Jazz—were much closer to the Bulls in terms of talent. Did you notice I'm talking about the Bulls and not only Jordan?

And do you know what 'reciprocated' means? Your vitriol seems aimed at me, but I have no such anger towards you. I never said you hurt my feelings; you flatter yourself. This argument just seems personal w/ you. At the end of the day, my point has more validity than you care to admit, and I could give fuck if you throw insults at me that make Supercup sound like a Rhodes scholar.

As I proved in my last post, your "point" is a pile of dog shit. But, of course you failed to address that and instead cried like a baby about perceived persecution which only makes you look paranoid now as well.

The Magic can claim they got screwed in two games so according to your logic that series should've been 3-2 Orlando after 5 games so who you crappin? So I guess Kobe is fortunate to win this title since MJ is fortunate win win his 98 title due to one POSSIBLY missed call out of the 10,000 calls that were made that playoffs.

And don't give me this "I'm said the Bulls, not MJ" crap because we ALL know who you're talking about. We all know who's legacy you are attempting to tarnish and it sure ain't Bobby Fucking Hanson.

You didn't prove anything. You got ANGRY! ON THE INTERNET! Saying the Bulls got lucky only tarnishes the Bulls legacy in your mind. Anyone with any basketball sense would acknowledge that luck plays a part in every series, it doesn't detract from the accomplishments of the winners, it's just the way basketball works. Obviously Jalepenos didn't know he was speaking to the MJ's internet reputation bodyguard.

I don't feel persecuted at all. More like bemused: I don't understand what's up your ass. Your rage is bizarre. Like KD said you didn't prove anything: neither of us can conclusively prove our opinions. That's why they're opinions and not fact. Getting angrier doesn't make you right. At no point in this exchange did I say anything negative about Michael Jordan. And if I had, big fucking deal.

Funny you mention Bobby Hanson—wasn't it fortunate for the Bulls (the team) that he gave the performance of his life in Game 6 of the '92 Finals? Regardless it's clear that all you care about is kissing Jordan's ring. Go ahead. You have plenty of company. You're probably the only person who thinks the man is not venerated enough for his considerable accomplishments. I apologize for not showing the proper fielty to your master.

And with this I'm done with you. Keep making an idiot of yourself if it eases the pain of what must be a wholly unsatisfying life.

Uh huh. And where did you hear that?

From the Sun-Times article last night....

David Hernandez, the money man behind Mike North's Chicago Sports Webio accused of running a Ponzi scheme, is missing, Downers Grove police said Tuesday.

Hernandez's wife reported him missing about 7 p.m. Monday when he failed to return home, said Downers Grove Police Sgt. David Bormann.

Hernandez had called his wife Monday afternoon and made statements to her "referencing his well being," said Bormann, who declined to be more specific.

"It was enough to cause alarm with his wife," Bormann said.

Based on that, I think he's not going to take his own life. He's taking what little money he's got left and running.

In other words you have nothing and you acknowledge it was foolish of you to single out 2 championships in the past 50 years as lucky when you even state that being fortunate is part of EVERY championship. I accept your apology.
