I would like to see Spiegel's attendance get to 0%.

Pretty funny Kirk.

Thanks Camps.

WSCR is a country club. Employees do whatever the fuck they want while Mitch tells everyone that "everything will be ok". How the hell can a show build an audience of loyal listeners if the regular hosts are off 50% of the time? It can't.

LOL.

Quite a station this has turned into. I know the dopey hosts love to take shots at the fans for "caring SO much about time off", but good God. NEITHER host could be bothered to show up for their once-per-week show?

meatpants is really not good on baseball - so him not showing up to a baseball show isn't a horrible thing for the audience, but how in the hell is the "staple" weekly baseball show left to rot so often? Letting meatpants have the show was dumb, and it's just icing on that stupid cake to let the guy show up whenever he wants. As has been said, consistency is a BIG thing in radio - so other than calling it the "staple" show of the station, it's clear that no one really cares about it. Not the hosts, not the mgt, not the fill-in hosts.

Honestly, about the only thing that is somewhat consistent about the ENTIRE station is flipping it on Saturday morning and hearing the blustery and repetitive Rosenbloom yap about his lady Luscious, and choose at least one horrible wordplay or pun to run with for the day with Paruch.

I'm no radio expert, but I have never "witnessed" any manager get walked on half as much as the guy that runs The Score. What a entryway floormat.

Does this mean he's going to do the radio equivalent of the towel drill?

What the hell? Meat is gone again and were stuck with fucking ZZ. The only time I want ZZ near my radio is if I am throwing it at him.

Christ, I miss George and Jesse.

So does he have to spend all saturday sleeping to make it in on Sunday? Since this is the only all baseball show you would think one might make it a point to show up when say, the sox have a crazy winning streak going, the cubs have a crazy pitcher on a tirade and its the last day of the sox/cubs series.

I am on record as always saying, Jesse is just alright with me. I took my share of heat for that when I first started posting, as well as my Murph love.

I heard ZZ yesterday about 3, and he was asking people what to think of LBJ coming to Chicago and everyone that called in ZZ yelled at them saying "but you don't KNOW what's going to happen, how can you say that?" He did it to all 3 callers I heard and to whomever his partner was about 5 times. What a tool. Everytime I hear this guy it's PTFB radio.

I think we should stop getting so fired up at the unlistenable meatpants, and I think we should get angry at our respective bosses for not being as COOL as Mitch! What a gig!!!

Seriously, how sweet would it be for you to TRULY show up whenever you want like he does? Just incredible.

It's really a joke -- and I do fully agree with those that miss George & Jesse's version of this show. Rozner is a dorky know-it-all and meatpants, when there, just blusters common baseball thoughts and randomly pulls a stat to make it seem like he is really some sort of expert.

RIP Hit & Run. RIP.

Here's to hoping that meatpants can get it together by tomorrow (as he and McNeil have really meshed due to a half year of broadcasting together, and Lord knows we don't want to rob the public of their asslicking nonsense)....but I DID hear that he's playing a quinceanera tonight, so all bets are off!

I thought it was interesting to hear the brenly interview, especially when they talked about him calling out the cubs during the broadcast and if he had been reprimanded by the higher ups. Hopefully ZZ took a few tips from him. If he would just be 1/10 as honest about the bears as brenly is about the cubs then he would be 100 times more listenable.

I think the big guy's eyes were bigger than his stomach when he decided to take on this show.

I hope he doesn't miss any more time because I'm running out of subtle fat jokes.....

Keyser, Marty Feldman couldn't even pull that off.

Dark,

I was listening to this too and Esposito was his partner. I wanted Esposito to yell back at him "Hey idiot...this is the point of having a sports talk show...to speculate..to take calls and hear what people have to say..to give an opinion." Instead, we a treated to Zaidman saying..."you can't say that because you don't know." Well..here is what I do know...Greg Olsen still has no skill set and Zaidman sucks as a host.

Agreed on that koach. You can take zaidman and joniak and send them to olsen's guest house.

Man, I can't wait until football season. Peppers will be Reggie White, and Major Wright will be a young, developing Ed Reed. And that's Zach just getting warmed up. Remember, all they need to do is get better.

I originally thought that Spiegel was a perfect fit as Hit & Run co host...but not anymore. I don't care if he works for a hands off passive Manager like Mitch or not, doesn't Spiegs have any pride or work ethic? Doesn't he think that the right think to do is to show up for your show? Apparently not.

Yep and Ed was right. This show is awful, just two assclowns trying to be funny with a VERY limited knowledge of what they spit out. I heard fatboy taking shots a the Ricketts kids. Look in a fucking mirror fat boy, you spend time with shitty parody songs and singing other people's hits, and poorly at that.
