Should you invite Curtis Armstrong instead?

Combine them up and he is like at leats 50% of the guys he grew up with, but they all think that mix is unique.

Camp still rules even if Bernstein makes it sound weird.

Do any of those things make him a douchebag? I don't know if he really enjoys anything. What makes him an ass is he seems to be one of those people with no friends. Instead of trying to make them he chooses to show the world how right he is in order to get approval from people. He's (suppose) to be a sports radio guy. You think anybody is calling him to go grab a beer and watch a game? No, nobody wants to quietly reflect on a win.

If I could, I'd like to get a re-vote for Jim Belushi. I completely understand all the arguments against. However, he did make a movie (in 1990) that had as one of the plot points, the Cubs playing in the World Series....and featuring a cameo appearance by Mark Grace.

He's in. He has as much real fan credit as anyone here.

That movie had the love interest blonde in a thong bikini in 89 which would be like showing a gang bang in 2015

Jim Belushi annoys me at times with his fandom. But, I don't doubt he's a real fan.

To be fair, I haven't really noticed him in years. I won't begrudge a guy his fandom because cameras show him too much.

Plus, he was great in Return To Me, which is a movie my wife watches all the time and he and Bonnie Hunt get me through it.

The problem I have with Belushi and Cusack is that they're trying way too hard to be "Chicago guys".

To me that's more Cusack than Belushi. But that just may be because Belushi looks more like the SuperFans.

I do agree that they're both Cub fans. But they're willing to put on Sox caps during a postseason on the South side. Sort of like Nas.

I didn't see Belushi do that.

I need to recalculate.

Never saw Belushi do that. If he did, that's different

But he was there in all the bad years. Who is anyone to say he doesn't count?

He was? I'm not saying he wasn't, but he only seems to appear when a Chicago team is playing for a championship. I wouldn't be surspried to see him courtside at a Sky game.

He grew up in Wheaton in the 50s and 60s. That is like growing up in Iowa today. We had some family owned shack on Fox Lake that was considered a summer home in the 70s. Wheaton Zack is more Chicago than Wheaton Jim.

Yea he was always around. I see him at games a few times each year.
