There'a pretty bad situation going on with the Loyola woman's basketball team. It had been bubbling under the surface for about a year, and the media really paid no attention to it ( check out ramblermania.net for how long the fans had been talking about). Finally, Shannon Ryan does an article about after 10 of 12 current players request transfers, citing Sheryl Swoopes behavior as coach - includes bullying and tactics that should not be tolerated and other coaches have been fired for doing. So - where is DiCaro in all of this? Awfully silent as she isn't a reporter - but now that it is out there - watch she'll be all over it and leading the charge - as if she had actually paid attention to woman's sports ( or sports in general). Or - perhaps she won't say a thing - making her hypocrisoy even worse than normal. |
