My wife heard Joe O Friday and said that all people should be warned before listening to him.

Maybe not sports but they are talking about "The Chicago Accent" on WGN 720 right now...

Lots of "Superfans" references.

 Guest says it is a 50/50 split on how people pronounce, "Chicawgo" or "Chicahgo"... Daley said it the first way and Emanuel says it the latter.

Then there is Bill Kurtis & Walter Jacobson who report from "Chi-coo-coo".

"The Extra Point" on CSN Chicago.

Nice 30 minute special on WS Game 7 Cubs victory coverage from the local CSN crew.

Interviews include producers, techs, Kaplan, Crull, Stuckmeyer, Holly, etc.

Interesting if you like that behind the scenes stuff.

I'll use this thread to ask who is the genius that thinks Hamp & O'b are a good match with Glen Koslowski? It's like listening to two Grizzlies devour a deer while Boo-Boo looks for honey in a tree.

The guy who is actually from Chicago is pronouncing it correctly.

CSN special content has really improved as of late. in the loop with stuckmeyer and leila rahimi is actually watchable. they both seem to grasp the online content/what viewers really want to see vs. the usual microphone in the face interviews

Agree 100%. In The Loop is good stuff. Good natured, light hearted and informative. They don't take themselves too seriously and the flow is perfect.

"You just made the list!"

Not so much a sports alert as it is a radio dinosaur alert...

Bob Sirott and John "Records" Landecker on WLS AM 890 until noon today.

Yes, I'm old and enjoying it... Now get off my lawn.

Coppock will profess love for those that allow him on the air and despise everyone else with a radio/TV gig.

He was mostly humbled professing he has changed and putting it out there that he needs a job.

Chet said his dream job is 3 hours daily on a station teamed up with a millennial or Sarah Spain.

Also predicts that White Sox Tim Anderson will be the break out AL star this season.

If anyone is interested, the podcast would be about 10:30 am on the Bob Sirott & Marianne Murciano program today.

From Larz site...

CSN Chicago will soon be presenting a pair of brand new, behind-the-scenes specials that will provide an up-close and personal look at numerous rising stars in the White Sox organization, including some of the leagues brightest prospects. The two CSN Original Productions specials are "White Sox Cornerstones: Charlotte" and "White Sox Cornerstones: Birmingham & Winston-Salem." The 30-minute programs will be broadcast on Monday, May 22nd at 7:00pm and 7:30pm respectively. These specials will also stream live on CSNChicago.com for authenticated CSN Chicago subscribers. The two specials for White Sox fans were written and produced by CSN Senior Producer of Original Content Ryan McGuffey, who had traveled to all three minor league sites recently and came back with fantastic material for the "White Sox Cornerstones" programs. CSN Executive Producer of Original Content Sarah Lauch edited the specials. Together, McGuffey and Lauch are multiple Emmy winners for their outstanding documentary work on CSN.

That has the look of "punched a window" for no apparent reason.

The most recent episode of Beer Money on CSN has a pretty good 83 Nation shout out by a contestant and Luke Stuckmeyer.

Episode isn't on CSN website yet but it is the one with Luke outside of Wrigley Field before a cold Yankees/Cubs game on Cinco de Mayo.
