Post subject: | Drew Hayes in trouble again |
I'm Loving It! Here's an email exchange between a Jerry Reinsdorf pal known as "Dr. J" & the mini-buffoon known as Drew Hayes. Mr Drew Hayes - I'll try be brief, my problem is your employee Dan Falato. It is very distracting to myself & my clients to have him crawling around on the floor in front of us and talking to the people at the radio announcers table at Bulls games while rummaging through his gym bag on the floor. He does not have a seat there; ergo, he does not belong there. This never happened until this season. Please fix it. Thank you. Dear Dr. J: I don't believe that your issue is with WCKG employee, Mr. Falato. He does not attend games on a regular basis, and as far as I know, he does not spend much time at the broadcast table, unless on specific business. If there is a problem, it is unlikely that he is responsible. I am interested however, in knowing why you cite Mr. Falato, by name, as the source of your distraction. I am taking the liberty of copying Mr. John Viola who is in charge of the Bulls broadcasts on your email. Drew Hayes VP/Programming WBBM-AM, WCKG-FM CBS Radio 2 Prudential Plaza Suite 1059 Chicago, IL 60601 312-240-7989 dhayes2@cbs.com dhayes@wckg.com Mr. Hayes, Now I see why the other people didn't want to deal with you: you're putting up a great defense without even asking him. I did my homework, I asked all the right questions of all the right people after the game. They said it was WCKG's Dan Falato. Please forward this to John Viola as well. Thanks for your, ahem, assistance. cc: Mr. John Viola - This is exactly what I didn't want, a series of emails. The old "mountain out of molehill" situation. Take care of this Drew guy and take note of the tone of his email to me as he represents your organization. That's it, I'm done with this Drew guy. |

No, this was confirmed by Dahl, they talked about it on his show; Falato blamed announcer Neal Funk for asking him to sit on the floor. |
Fake
Fake? You mean I'd makeup a lame, crazy story involving the unknown Dan Falato of WCGK on a WSCR site? That's a stretch. But I will accept the accusation as a compliment to my borderline genius/insanity. |

torch! wrote: Quote: why the hell would anyone use the word 'ergo' "Ergo" has five fewer letters than "Therefore," and eight fewer letters than "Consequently." Ergo, it is the more economical word choice. |

I thought it had something to do with Lysergic acid diethylamide. |

"Ergo" is used by Bernstein-types to show how smart they are. Either that or the guy reads "The Straight Dope" column in the Reader. He uses ergo all the time. |

Latin for 'therefore' more common among older folks. Nos, how the hell did you get your hands on that exchange? You are incredible. |
