Laugh like a know-it-all for those who have had enough of Cutler in favor of:

Hoyer the Destroyer!

Why are people so afraid to say someone is better than Cutler? Cutler is average at best!

Was just listening to this white, clone bro-dude on the Score, and of course he has to preface his Cutler criticism by saying "Now I'm NOT saying Hoyer is better than Cutler."

Really? Why? I'm not saying he definitely is, but there's certainly an argument. Jay Cutler made one Pro Bowl as an alternate his first year in the league. He's not above being compared to journeymen.

The Bears should have traded him before the draft LAST YEAR. Start Hoyer and draft a rookie QB. When Dick Jauron cut Erik Kramer,Bear fan's were shocked but Jauron wanted to start fresh.

Agreed. "Have you seen the list of free agent QB's next year? It's not pretty." is another common talking point. Who give a crap? What difference does it make. It's not like they are derailing a dynasty by getting rid of Jay.

I was irate when the Bears extended Jauron, Mike North led the charge for that extension after the ridiculously lucky 13-3 season.

Hoyer is a winning QB, Cutty ain't..turnovers lose games..I hope Jay never gets a snap in a Bear uni again.

douchey Rozner incessantly makes fun of it but they should have traded Cutler and signed Mc Cown to a low money contract while drafting a QB.

I heard a part of this early in the show. The fact of the matter is that McCown, and now Hoyer (at this point) were statistically superior. Cutler has been here too long to talk about potential, and beyond his great athletic prowess there is more to being the QB than being able to throw the ball the farthest or the fastest. Gunslingers may put a few butts in the seats, but game managers are the ones who win games.

It's amazing how afraid Hub is of letting Cutler go. Whether it's Cutler or Joe Blow, they'll be a bridge QB. The Bears winning a SB with Cutler has long past. The future will live or die with the ability to find a good young QB.
