| Post subject: | Poor radio hosts today |
As Large Crimson already tweeted out about being happy that she's off today so she doesn't have to hear panicked Cub fans callers who despite 108 years of futility and author of a couple of the more memorable choke jobs of recent vintage really should have no reason to feel that way, I hope we all take a moment to feel bad for the radio hosts who will have to sit through that grind today. Even truck drivers sympathize with their plight. God bless , gentlemen. |

I agree Dempster was on with Kap and he said he likes where the hitters are at right now and wouldn't change a thing with the lineup. Russell and Rizzo have 2 fucking hits in 6 games and your dumb ass thinks everything is fine. |

I wouldn't say everything is "fine," but are we really proposing removing our All-Star first basemen and shortstop? There's no way that happens, and no team would ever do it. I'd have no problem moving Russell down, but Rizzo stays where he is. If Maddon moves his MVP candidate down in the lineup more than one slot, everyone is going to start panicking. I wasn't advocating for either of the two to be removed. I was just stating you can't say everything is fine and those two are the two that stand out the most. Addison was sorely missed last year in the NLCS when our defense fell apart. I'd go Fowler CF Baez 2b Bryant 3b Rizzo 1b Zobrist LF Almora Rf Russell SS Ross C Jake P Ross for the right handed bat and I don't think Jake feels as comfortable with Wilson behind the plate as he does the other twoman catchers |
