Seems as if he is doing well. Glad to see he is still in radio.

"Greenstone affliates manager Kerry Wood said, "We're thrilled to be on the air on WJOB and to be a part of the community in northwest Indiana and Chicago's sou..."

Yes he is.

I'm not saying his sports shows were the greatest in the world, but they certainly were not bad. loved his personality and passion. He was the total opposite of Boers, North and other sports hosts who take their jobs for granted and care nothing about other people.

One of the cheaper thrills of my life was winning a prize on his old show and getting the proverbial playback of "I love it when you call him Biiiiiiigggg Partner." :D

I will say this- TDub was always respectful of the listener, and he never really phoned it in. He was a lot like Murph, actually, just without the assholishness and incessant Cubs talk.

Gotta disagree with that. His lack of preparation was made clear by his overuse of several topics, most notable of which was "name your all-time NBA starting 5". I would almost swear he dragged that topic out once a week. Brutal.

He appeared to have a limited range of knowledge. Just keep asking him about "The Big Dog". He really had a hard time discussing many sports themes.
I wonder if he still wears that WSCR jacket?
Despite that, he's still a very nice guy.

Yeah TDub seemed like a nice guy on the radio but his show was a train wreck when it came to topics. I lost count on how many times he did the "Name your Chicago Sports Mount Rushmore...pardd-ner".

Going from Les Grobstein overnights to TDub was tough to say the least.

Still with that being said he treated his callers with respect and never acted like he was above anyone just because he had a Mic in front of him.

Another well-worn topic was this: "Which means more to you--the Bears Superbowl win or the Bulls championships?" The amusing thing about that topic was that callers would always overwhelmingly side with the Bears, a fact that seemed to irritate T-Dub immensely.

I could always be wrong- I was 12 at the time I started listening, I think. He did seem to recycle many of the same topics, now that I think about it. BUT- seemed like a nice guy, which is the exception, rather than the rule.

Never understood the love for Tdub. Seems like a nice guy, but as far as a radio host goes, definitely below average IMO.
