I think that is a condition, some people were mentioning "spinal concussions" in the reddit thread right after the injury.

Spinal cord concussion is actually what I was seeing online as the listed injury. It's not a common injury, but he is not wrong in describing it as that.

Unlike another certain update person, Joe O is factually correct

it actually is a spinal cord concussion, not a contusion. They are separate injuries.

Uh oh, there's apparently some confusion between Dr. Chus and Dr. Ostrowski regarding the diagnosis. I'll wait for Dr. bernstein to weigh in.

Even if this wasn't an actual injury, it still wouldn't have topped George referring to Donovan McNabb having an injury to his hernia.

I heard/saw contusion several times this morning, including from CBS sports.
