Read his Tweet below. My response would be: Maybe you would get more high quality callers if "certain" hosts didn't attack callers that they disagreed with. Imagine all the potential callers afraid to call in because they are intimidated by "certain" hosts making them feel stupid or like an arse. And Joe Ostrowski is smart? Please. If he makes 40k half of it is lost in gambling. Da Ma Na was a big gambler. But Joe is worse then him without the big salary. I agree that callers are stupid. But smart people don't call the SCORE. I think they said that only 1% of listeners call the station. I've never felt the need to call the SCORE. Only time I do it is for a good prize. So I try to be the 5th caller to win the prize. A few years ago Joe was doing Bears post game after a pre season game. And his first words were "I want to go home." This is when he was starting to get air time. That's an idiot. |

A good host knows how to make a "bad" call into radio gold. Who cares about the thoughts of a "good" caller. Take all of the Score highlights of the past 25 years and I doubt you find one that started with a "good" call. |
