Jason Goff!

I don't know if anyone tuned in last night, but I got listen from about 8-930, but Goff was solo at Cork & Kerry (or is it Carry?) and he sounded waaaaay better than I expected. Ive always liked Goff's thoughts, but I thought he needed to refine his speaking, and I think he has. He slowed down his tempo and was articulating very well. By no means do I think he is ready for his own prime time show, but when ZZ and LoHo seem to be spinning their wheels in the mud of mediocrity it was nice to hear someone make noticeable improvements in his hosting style. Hope he gets some more solo shifts.

P.S. I know most of you are going to torch me cause everyone here hates Goff...but that's just cause yall racist.

No. I won't torch you. I haven't heard Goff since he was on with Drinky. I'll take your word. I heard Drinky mention this morning that he's going to be on tonight after the Sox game. I'll try to give him a listen if I can.

Let me toss out a ditto ad a thumbs up to Jason! I had the privilege of working wth him. Great guy,hard worker and I think he IS indeed getting better on the air!!

I listened to him last night and found his handling of callers a bit abrupt. Sure, he had some idiots calling in but he was basically cutting them off mid sentence and moving on or answering their questions with them listening to a dial tone.

I thought he sounded too much like Lo Ho last night that I swore it was Lo Ho.

I've always liked Goff's content. I think he is creative as well. The problem has always been his delivery. That is the easiest part to correct for a broadcaster. I'm glad to hear he is improving.

Most improved on WSCR? I guess the Tallest Midget award goes to JG this time.
