These two are brutal alone and worse when they are together for their Sunday show.

They do this thing called "The Free for All". It's just like Larry's pulse. Nothing more then guess what? Taking phone calls. Wow.

They do this at 8am and they talk about it like a huge event is coming up.

Larry - Guess what Zac? It's coming up soon. The Free for all. I'm so excited. It's the free for all.

Zac - Oh boy Larry. This is amazing. I can't wait.

Just take the damn calls. Jesus Christ.

- Zac is still doing his creepy Lou Pinella impression.

- Larry thinks that having the Olympics will raise his property value. I don't get how. He never explained it. They're here for a couple weeks Larry. Then they leave. I don't know how your house value goes up because of the Olympics

Just take phone calls Holmes. You don't need to call it the 'The Pulse' or whatevery you called today's segment. You're not reinventing radio.

I also noticed in the 15-20 minutes I listened before the 1/2 of commercials that they are also trying to be 'funny' like the typical morning shows. Holmes is constantly trying to bring out the laughs!

Yeah. Larry thinks he's funny and clever and figures "I'm cracking up at my jokes so I must be."

These titles he gives for "taking phone calls" so patronizing to the listeners. Larry says "What's hot? What are you guys talking about on the streets?"

What's hot? LOL. Streets? Shut the fuck up Larry. Then when they are done with the "Free for all" they call the next batch of phone calls "the after math".

I swear. It's such a joke. But these two idiots are dead serious. It's phone calls. Just because you give it a title doesn't make you unique Larry.

I think today's show just trumped that duo:

Mike Bloomberg and Andy Garcia

That morning show is a trainwreck. In the first 15mins of the show they played drops of the Lou Pinella press conference at least a half dozen times. To say they ran those clips into the ground would be an understatement.

And i laugh at teh whole "free for all". Larry is the king of useless topics. You can tell he puts no thought into the show and probably prepares 2 minutes before airtime.

I enjoyed listening to Baum & Co but I never realized how much I would miss him until I tried to listen this morning.

Guys pay attention to who is listening. This isn't drive time where the audience is turning over every 30 minutes or so. You don't need to play the same drops over & over (Don't you think the "What do you think is wrong?!?" drop 5 times in 10 minutes is a bit much for 7:30 am on a Saturday?) And Larry I got it that you're concerned about Bobby Jenks... instead of repeating it every time the subject of the White Sox was broached try letting us know WHY you're concerned (who knows? with a little bit of digging you might be able to "break" a story or four :-)).

If I'm ever desperate enough to want to listen to the "Me Show" or the "Me & Zzzz Show" I'll listen at night. I don't need to hear it regurgitated from 6-10am on Saturdays.

Maybe Larry and Zac can learn from guys with relative success. MJH and B&B. They just say "Paletine Joe you're on the air".

You don't need to have this title gimick and fake enthusiasum about taking god damn phone calls. "Oh boy Zac!!! It's FREE FOR ALL time!!! This is so exciting."

Plus Larry you do this crap on your solo show and just changed the name of it for your Sunday show with Zac. People don't listen for this stupid stuff. It was stupid the first time and dumber when you renamed it for a different show. LOL.
People will listen if you have something interesting to say and are entertaining and informative. I guess since Larry and Zac are none of the above they think they have to fall back on this phony, stupid shtick. But it only makes it worse.

I laughed really hard at this, insofar as I laugh hard at this board. But yeah, this was good. Way to take one for the team and catch this show. Larry is a stroke.

Baum and Co never was anything special but at least they understood the audience and how to do a long form show. You hit the nail on the head with Larry and ZZZzzz not knowing their audience. People listening on the weekends spend a lot more t ime listening and the audience doesn't turnover.

His whole show stinks of college radio with no direction at all. I would love to see Larry sitting down with Zzzz and saying, "I have this GREAT idea, its called free-for-all...its new, edgy, and will have the people talking!"

I do love Larry's huge ego. Where did this guy get so much confidence? Might have been from his huge AIR award

The way things are headed, what if this becomes the new morning show if North really is taking a walk?

Keep sharp objects far away!

Don't know about you people, but I enjoyed Bloomberg and Garcia yesterday. I'm not as picky as others, but they are a lot better than Larry and Zaidman.
