Do you count sportstalk live as being employed?

People On Twitter really love Jason Goff.

EDIT: oh I forgot DeCastro was the guy who shut down The Game and Finfer had to learn about it from Twitter, lol. No wonder he's bitter.

He has a legitimate gripe with DeCastro no doubt, but yeah this is not a good way to get another sports radio job if you're Finfer.

Goff RT'ed the Finfer post. Yeah I don't think he's going to get some shifts like Spiegel will.

I just wish they had a camera in the booth to show Julie's face as the description of that video says she was working the show then

Finfer needs to find a new career. He's got a goofy looking face and that voice is just so nasally, it is an unbearable listen. And he is always crying about somethimg. Try the financial sector, or sales, or healthcare. Media is over for him.

I don’t know if it occurs to any of these guys (besides Mac, as much of a “job” bullshitting about Sports and music at a auto dealership can be) to find another line of work.

Well he’s been let go from the only other station in town that would employ him and since he’s going scorched earth on DeCastro he’s eliminated 670 from his prospects so yeah, this isn’t bad advice . I guess blogs only matter when they help people get hired like Jules huh?

Why not try podcasting? McNeil's is gone; why doesn't Finfer go for it? He can talk politics and sports all he wants.

Because Finfer knows he'd be one of MANY liberal white guys pushed out of the sports media business with a podcast that Isn't Afraid Of Politics, and that isn't the path to the notoriety he believes he deserves.

These whiny little bitches (Finfer, Goff, Big Red) need to realize that most people aren't on Twitter, and those that are are generally like-minded. No matter how many "likes" or "re-tweets" they get the majority of the listening audience doesn't want to hear their style of sports radio. One would think they would learn from Danny getting demoted like he did - guess not.

Seriously, I know he's still butthurt because of The Game, maybe rightfully so. But he's in an industry with what- 20 jobs? And he's throwing a tantrum and ripping one of the power players and then wondering why he can't get another job? Credit where it's due. Spiegel is playing it like an adult.

Goff should be careful about RT'ing derogatory tweets about his employer or he might find his remaining contract voided.

You are not kidding about Twitter. Media is consumed by it and it’s incestuous.

They didn't teach that during his 1 semester in college

Would Finji have a thread here if he was playing it like Spiegel?
