They're going down because they overextended themselves gobbling up terrestrial radio stations in the wake of Telecommunications Act '96. |

In some cases bankruptcy just means restructuring or getting rid of debt. It doesn't always mean that a company is out of business. |

I think we were lucky in Chicago because CBS Radio was always the least bad of the corporate radio owners (they didn't really trifle with smaller markets and were usually good about being hands-off) but Cumulus and Clear Channel wreaked havoc on radio and they deserve to go down. |

I would argue CBS Radio was too hands off in some cases. They should've stepped in and overruled Mitch on his line-up and also needed to kill the overbidding for the Cubs radio rights. |
