I highly doubt he is going to win the World Series.

I'm surprised he compared himself to someone/something other than LeBron James for once but then I guess he used that when he left for Atlanta.

Yeah, wonder where he's turning up. WGN to do Sox stuff maybe? WLS to co-host with Steve Dahl? Barstool?

At least the one where he was gift wrapped potential success.

Maybe he'll figure it out and be a success.

Best of luck to him.

16 years comes to an end today (officially). WSCR has been in my blood since I was 12 years old and I will always be proud of what a caller became. Looking forward to the summer and new things. Cubs had to leave WGN and they won a world series. Hopefully I can have same outcome.

So much for that contract he bragged about. Guess the bonuses are now gone too.

Wonder how long he's got left on that Rover lease.

I'm thinking the SCORE is on the hook longer with Spiegel then they were with Goff. As far as their contracts. Because Spiegel did say he got a new deal a few months ago.

So that's why Goff is out and Spiegel still has some role at the SCORE. That and because Goff is black, of course.

Maybe Julie can help him setup a GoFundMe page to save the Rover :)

I think in Goff's mind he thinks he'll go on to a better gig. Or at least something equal to what he had.

I don't see that.

That's why he shouldn't have fucked this up. He should have thought more about this opportunity he had.

And it's not about supporting Kapernick. It's not about saying cops shouldn't kill innocent black kids.

Those are obvious wrongs.

It was about putting race and racism into everything.

Things like insinuating that Joe Maddon was racist for not talking about race issues with his players. Or insinuating that Boomer Esiasan was racist for wanting players to stand for the flag. Or yelling "THERE IT IS" when a caller didn't like a black player flipping his bat.

That and the damn laughing/interrupting. I think the laughing/interrupting was 60% and the race stuff was 40% of the reason they had to let him go.

Looking at the latest radio ratings, maybe he is better off not being in radio.

How long has his Twitter profile said "stick to relevant content"?

We need to know Mr. Goff's place of employment. His March check has not yet come in. Thank you.

I didn't notice it right after he got fired. I think he tossed it up there a week or so ago.

I noticed it not long after he was fired. In between that point and the cryptic tweets about who we assumed were Bernstein.

I don't wish Goff anything bad, and I hope he finds something he likes doing... but he makes it pretty hard to feel sympathy when he acts so childish. He's free to say what he wants, but he shouldn't complain when no one else wants to hire him. Most of what he says is passive-aggressive, too, which makes it look worse, IMO.

Those Tweets were the equivalent of a drunk chick on Facebook talking shit about people and then saying "You know who you are!"
