"WFNZ (610 kHz "102-5/610 WFNZ") is a commercial AM radio station in Charlotte, North Carolina. Owned by Entercom, the station airs a sports radio format. The studios and offices are located on South Boulevard in Charlotte's South End, while its transmitter is located at the site of its former studios on Radio Road in the Oakdale neighborhood of Northwest Charlotte. WFNZ uses a directional antenna and is powered at 5,000 watts by day. But at night it reduces power to 1,000 watts, sending most of its signal to the east, to avoid interfering with other stations on AM 610 and adjacent frequencies."

So it looks like a month ago this Kroeger guy got taken out of solo afternoon drive and given a 10a-2p midday slot, and allowed to run that solo.

Goff being there for a week looks a whole lot like an audition to be this dude's new partner.

I hope he's learned from his Score dismissal, because I think he has the preparation tools and the personality to be a success.

It looks as though he is trying to capture a midday audience that grew to love a two-man show that markets the fact that the two hosts disagreed with each other often.

On the contrary, I think he fared much better when he had pushback from Spiegs and had to live with it than he did when he had Senor there to feed and indulge him every step of the way. Source: Spiegel and Goff won their ratings books and Bernstein and Goff got people fired

I only care about him being employed because he has a family to provide for; if he was single, couldn't care less.
Always found him and Matty to be a really good pairing when they hosted together.
