There is a pretty good show on AM1000 right now about the history of lights at Wrigley Field. It must have started at 6:00 and looks like it's going to go until 7:00. Maybe they will replay it or it will be available on a podcast. |

That should be illuminating. |

Turns out it was a 30 for 30 podcast that originally aired last November. I had thought it was done by someone at AM1000 which seemed surprising considering the quality, but being part of the 30 for 30 series explains why it was so well done. 30 years ago today should have been the first night game. I realized that as I had to sign something today and date it. |

ya 8/8/88 got rained out. they should have more night games , like all the regular ball clubs. its been 30 years already, get w/ the times. Keep the day games on the weekends and maybe one weekday like Wednesday like the other clubs do. |

Keep the day games on the weekends and maybe one weekday like Wednesday like the other clubs do. there had been studies done that showed the effects that majority of day baseball had on the cubs teams in the past and how if a change wasn't made, it would likely continue to hinder them come time for postseason. In 2016 I think they had the most night games than before and they win the world series. limiting night games is just another example of how those alderman for wrigleyville are Caller Bobs. |
