Heard him talking with M & P yesterday afternoon.

Classy guy, well liked and very good at what he does.

Complimentary to his employer/team, brand and partner.

I hope the raise is huge - he deserves it.

and i agree...that "delirious 10 year olds" thing was fucking stupid and I cringe every time i hear it. It's in the Hall of Fame of blunders by someone who's ordinarily exceptional at their craft.

Very disappointing. He deserves a pink slip far more than he deserves an extension. How does the third largest market in the country have so many terrible broadcasters?

Putting aside that Pat Hughes doesn't belong on any worst lists, the #1 market in the country has John Sterling, Suzyn Waldman, Ken Daneyko, and most of the staff of the YES Network.

Joniak is fine enough. Football on the radio has a way of not really making inroads outside the respective home markets. Who does Chiefs games and where? I don't know.

It's not hate.

Jeff is a great guy personally and a mediocre PBP guy that was, and still is a budget hire.

I can count on 1 hand the number of times I listened to a Bears game on the radio. His highlights sound fine.
