I figured we need a thread for beat writer news

Chris Kuc, formerly of the Tribune, is leaving the DC branch of The Athletic to write for the Blackhawks site

These writers' pieces about leaving a publication is blight on society. Bernie Lincicome, Mike Royko, John Kass….those people who have spent decades writing for one company, they are the only ones who should doing these farewell pieces.
