Haha Scott is curious why people in Chicago still give a fuck enough about him to warrant a TV show years after coaching the Bears. Now he's saying what next, a Cutler show. Just turned this on randomly and he's killing Chicago

It would be better if Chicago killed you.

I can understand that if you were unfamiliar with the show. Wannstedt isn't some Chicago icon. It does seem weird that he has a show here. But the truth is he's better at commenting than he ever was as a coach.

Wanny is on a show here because he moved here to be in a media center location and has a great agent here (same as Mac). I think he is the brother of the Packers guy that just retired.

Edit: To add Wanny knows what the hell he is talking about and watches the games which is nice.

I was as shocked as anyone to find Wannstedt to be articulate, knowledgeable and likeable as a college football analyst. The truth is, he is great at it and not just from an ex coach perspective. You learn things if you listen to Wanne.

Ferrall on the other hand is a fake voiced, drug addled, betting record cheat who used to get called out by CHUS.

I find it odd that the never was medja guy is calling out the nice guy who is actually entertaining and surprisingly good at his job. Jealousy and envy. Jealousy and envy.

Most great coaches end up coaching football until they retire so it isn't shocking that a below average NFL coach shows up on local sports radio to discuss.

In 2030 we'll probably have the Matt Nagy hour on 670 The Score's twitch feed.

What a douche.....it does not matter how good of a Bears head coach Wandstedt was....they guy totally brings the metal with his football commentary. He breaks down plays and players in a manner that's easily understandable and gets excited talking football like a little kid. The guy just bleeds football.

Wanny the analyst fucking rules. There isn't a better one out there right now.

Another thumbs up vote for Wanny...... he does come across as a nice guy, not a condescending windbag.

Ferrall should co-host a show with Sarah Spain that is sponsored by Ricola.

The only ex Bears head coach who wasn’t a total dickbag to media and or fans (Ditka, Lovie, Fox) or a complete goof (Trestman and Jauron). Wanny has good football insight and it’s great hearing him getting all lathered up talking about a story from his Hurricane or Cowboy days. I’d still like to know what the hell he was thinking trading a first for Rick Mirer when the entire league knew that he could not accurately throw to his left.

It’s still unbelievably rich that Fox took a job at ESPN to pad his retirement account, that he paid more attention to and got caught looking at numerous times in his office at Halas Hall instead of game tape, with how much distaste he has for the media.
