https://ratings.radio-online.com/content/arb005 The renaissance of 890 has been kind of disappointing. I guess Trump Radio is working pretty well for them, they've been back above 2.0 after being around 1.0 for a long time. |

Beating both Rock stations and all three Maroon 5 stations (which are all clustered together.) |

According to Feder, the Score didn't even place in the top 10 at night after winning it all spring/summer. I guess nobody cares about national football and the Bulls. |

The fact that all of the Winter sports teams suck certainly doesn’t help ratings. If the Bears had lived up to the hype I’d bet the numbers would still be high. |

What was the case this time last year? Bears would have been 8-3ish, I think. |

Basketball on the radio is death. I can't follow what's going on and don't even want to. Everyone talks about football as a TV show but basketball is prohibitively visual in a way I don't think the other sports are. There's something kind of sad about those Westwood One MNF broadcasts. I think it's Jim Gray and his "conversations" with Tom Brady that are promoted as the biggest get of all gets and then it's just Brady on the phone saying "yeah we need to play hard as a team." I'm not even sure the calls are actually happening and aren't just spliced together in post like EPK material. |
