Want to see Lebron James on TV here in Chicago?

No problem. NBC Sports Chicago today showed the Kings Lakers game by patching in NBC Sports California.

Now that there's no Cubs games, it would be nice to see some baseball games from other NBC Sports markets being patched in to our local channel.

You get to see an out of town broadcast without the typical bullshit of national annaouncers and national telecasts. Just some good ol' down-home small-town telecasts coming to u from across the country.

I think theyve done this with other lesser-known sports in the past but noone's cared. SHit like rowing, cornhole, etc. But showing NBA and hopefully some MLB would be a nice bigtime bonus.

They'll have to try a bunch of content to convince the local cable and streaming providers to carry the channel for anywhere close to the previous RSN fee.
