Zach, LH, and Drinky want to know why nobody calls in to "celebrate" the Cubs recent success.

I'll say it is because the Score is the White Sox station and nobody wants to call in to a bunch of White Sox fans and talk about how great the Cubs are. I don't call my friends who are White Sox fans and talk about the Cubs. Why would I call the Score?

I know Murph is the "Cubs guy" but I can't stand him either.

One other thing - to Larry's philosophical question of "Is Man only truly happy when he is miserable?" Take a pill there, Plato.

I actually don't mind these guys, and they're far better than Murph. Sure they have some odd and peculiar thoughts, but at worst they're laughable, whereas Murph's odd and peculiar thoughts are grating, abrasive and jerkish.

The show is better than Murph's. But I listen to Dan Patrick instead of Murph, so there you go.

I haven't heard their show before this week. My first impression is that it is too disjointed. It's the same problem I had with MJH for the first 18 months or so. Too many guys trying to make points. Free-form discussion among 3 guys is great at a bar maybe but not great radio.

Maybe I just haven't heard enough to feel out who is driving this ship. But somebody needs to be driving so Larry doesn't start throwing out philosophical questions out of nowhere.

Damn Larry and Zak getting into it about the Bulls and Pax. I agree with Larry, Zak is a pussy when you start to question him.

Wonder what great topics these 3 will have for tomorrow. Still better than Murph's old ass.

So true  It's really amazing and embarrassing how often they talk about that and tease it as if it's some innovative segment. Wow, taking calls on a sports talk show. Who would have ever thought of that

That ticking sound effect makes me think of Hawaiin's "24 Second Shot Clock."

...15 Minute Free For All...

It's literally so true. You would think it's somewhat exaggerated as a joke, but it's dead on. Oh man.

Is this where they turn the program over to us? I'm confused.

Apparently "anything goes" except asking Larry if he plays pocket pool.

And for all the hype they give it, it's pretty asshole-ey that they rip on 90% of the callers and act all high and mighty as if the calls are beneath them. If you don't like it, don't do it and quit teasing this piece of crap so much.

Hard to explain but a couple guys hitting on a pregnant, married woman who at different points were showing his "guns" (Larry), asking if it was "cold in here" (Larry), and a couple other moments I can't remember. She handled it well but it sounded creepy. Larry mostly.

Maybe a better way to put it - it sounded like a couple guys that try to show a girl how cool they are by "pretending" that they aren't. Those are the guys that look like they are trying just a liiiiitttlle tooooo hard. The married and pregnant aspects just added to the weirdness.

And, yes, I understand the irony of my signature.

I stopped listening after Stoney. Sounds like that was the right choice.
Larry is just odd.

Glad I missed it though I will say I am wondering if she'll pop on TV any night now. She went from a little bit pregnant to oh my god, she's knocked up pregnant rather quickly.

I caught the Paula Faris segment. Weird. She's a married women about to have a baby. These three guys are trying to impress her during the segment. They didn't even let her speak. It was one guy trying to top the other with a one liner. It sounded like 3 Jr. high kids talking to the pretty girl.

It is tough to describe. Three 30 year olds giggling at their sexual jokes to a married pregnant women. Paula innocently said "I'm too close to murph's mic and I put my mouth on it". They gave us the "woooo!!! hey now!!!!" type crap. Only Stern is funny with that stuff. These guys sounded like dorks.

She put up with it. I'll give her credit.

What IS up with LoHo's weird need to give every segment a name, especially in cases where the segment offers no difference in format from a bajillion talk-radio shows?

I think he believes that it somehow makes for more entertaining radio when each segment has it's own name.....don't ask me why. He just tries to hard to be different.

I guess it matters if you're keeping an inventory of your geniusnesseses. That and a good sample tape would get you... what?

It can be a painful listen at times, but I do enjoy the anger that is expressed on the show. At times, these guys sound like they're going to start punching one another.
Maybe that isn't that original?

When the fists fly, then maybe they can be "can't miss radio", but until then, it's 3 dorks acting like they are cool.

I think their arguments are pretty real, and they do sound like friends who argue about sports - I like that part of their show.
