He's like the grindy white guy who ends up making the HOF by being a good but not great performer for a long time which ironically he would hate if it wasn't him.

He didn't put up those kinds of numbers until Larry came along.

When talking about the Score's ratings Larry Holmes has mumbled under his breath "we'll see in 6 months" knowing that his days at the Score are probably numbered with a likely end to local shows coming. He knows he's part of radio's version of the Titanic.

Truth.

Any teaming with Dan has rarely been the top rating producer at the station, even in the B and B days

Big(er) money is coming to Sir in the near future

I can't really say much because it'll seem like I'm speaking for someone else.

Sports radio is still going strong. I imagine this Bears pick will make the next book better for all.

Sox championship and Bears draft talk is going to make for a great year for them

The current Score hosts taint any upbeat Chicago sports stories with their radical agenda. I don't see listeners who don't like them and avoid their shows flocking to hear their views now all of a sudden.

The Score has to be one of the few bright spots for Audacy. But it's mostly luck, seeing as the gambling institutions have no where else to pour in their money. I always wonder how much the station gets for the Trey Wingo/Caesar's Palace segment. I bet it's a shitload. Bernstein now is forced to talk gambling. All the sponsors have "recommended" it.

That does seem to be the end game, sports betting entities likely will continue to support anything that generates business, and can subtly start inserting more and more gambling content into the shows to gin up interest.

Getting idiots like me to punch the over 60.5 Justin Fields rushing yards prop seems to be the savior for sports talk radio, and there are tons of guys just like me, just get rid of the idiotic political BS that the hosts rely on to fill time when they cannot come up with any original content (Larry Holmes two hour mid day show RIP).

Windsocking is what he predominately does.

Reminds of how fun sports talk radio used to be, used to love Nabil's calling North a windsock on the Monsters back in the day, North just had to take it, can only imagine how Larry Holmes would react if they actually took a call and a caller was actually allowed to call Holmes a windsock, he is and will never be as good as Mike North at sport talk radio.
