Wow. I know the SCORE is cutting costs big time. There parent company is broke. But jeez. How much put Grote up? If they booked all these trips when the schedule came out I'll bet you could have gotten Grote $400 round trip to KC. Maybe $150 for just a decent hotel for one night. Throw him another $50 for food and an Uber to the Stadium. So $600. Score can't handle that? Wow.

I'll bet they'll let Grote drive to Detroit and Green Bay. SCORE will pay for the gas. But KC isn't that far of a drive. Maybe 6 hours.

Who are we going to rely on now to tell us the field is slippery when it's raining at the stadium?

The entire concept of the WSCR Bears reporter is outdated at best, back in the day the Bears hit (two words) was one of the few places you could go for in depth team coverage, now you have podcasts galore that give you way more than anyone on WSCR. Does anyone remember the days of the intrepid young Bears reporters named Dan Bernstein or Lawrence Holmes? Whatever happened to those guys?

The last time I remember anything unique from Grote was when he was trying to do the nearly impossible task of defending a Ryan Pace roster to Mac.

Mac almost laughed at his North Korean TV reporter type zeal in defending the obviously idiotic Bears front office.

He kind of got put in the same place I have Hub, cannot really trust anything he says because about the Bears because he is more interesting in protecting his relationship with the teams PR department than he is in establishing credibility with the fans.

Parkins will be there. A little nerd who can't even throw a ball will tell us how Fields is being mishandled and still better then Elway

All the MVP guys are going to the game. Some sort of promo.

Interesting how Thayer and Joniak sound so much more comfortable on MVP, the culture at WSCR must really suck for everyone other than Bernstein.

Pretty sure Joniak and Thayer are hired and paid directly from the Bears...MVP has nothing to do with it
