I can't stand that disgustingly awful forced laugh he does multiple times an inning - ostensibly to be heard in any way possible on the broadcast. Sorry, but Ron Coomer is just not that funny. He is also PTFB bad when he takes an inning for Pat Hughes. Dude does not belong on a Cubs broadcast - he belongs in Mason City, Iowa. |

As long as the Score is the Cubs radio flagship it's unlistenable with all the sponsor plugs no matter who the announcer is. |

yankees, dodgers and mets radio has the same plugs. good to know that corporate america has plenty of money for advertising and sadly, not much left over for their workers. |

I haven't listened to a Cubs broadcast in a very long time, but is his role primarily to laugh in the background at anything that is said? |

I think to also host post/pregame and take the 5th inning for Pat. And to make attendance guesses. All of it, bad. |
