Post subject:  Pick a lane, Murph
He says that a person should be arrested for throwing a "decoy ball" back on to the field, instead of the actual ball. They should be charged with throwing an object onto the field, and spend some time in lock up, at Addison and Halsted. In the next breath, he says, if it was the actual homerun ball, then it is OK, it is a tradition.

he also had to mention that back in 1968 he witnessed one of his bleacher butt buddies throw back a homerun ball and that was the start of the tradition, alas the tradition didn't really kick in until 1984 according to murph, but he and his bleacher bums were the first to do it. :roll:

In either case, an object was thrown onto the field. In both cases, the intent was to return a ball to the field of play.

First of all. Read the post. I will omit punctuation where I please. I may make typos. But grow up it is my post. If you want a job as a grammatical genius then apply elsewhere. If not just read the post. If you have half a brain you will understand what I am saying. I am not frivoluous in my opinions.
The Score except for Berstein who is inane is typically Chicago and many of you posters fit right in. Right now I am on strike against the SCORE and have been for two years. Even though I miss what I have came to feel as my friends on the radio I refuse to listen to any shows until they finally get rid of Bernstein. I send them an email every month to can the turd.
I also realize I am only one person and a very small voice but I am determined.
