Prolly true, although, ALLEGEDLY, the promo we did to announce the Sunday Bobblehead series that they aired on Saturday night at Sox Fest, got a big response....we weren't there, we were at Reggie's getting ready for our LIVE SHOW that night, but supposedly at least the Sox Fest crowd knows us a bit.

No need for false modesty, dude. You guys have done more to promote the Sox than Brooks Boyer ever did. I honestly don't think the White Sox even know who their actual fans really are. James Duda went to like six million straight home games. They should build him a statue. Instead of creating fans like Duda they drive them away.

I think the JR and Einhorn desired a different demographic of fan for their team from the very beginning. They are a bit better today but their front office was openly hostile to fans for at least the first couple of decades. That Greek guy who held the spot forever before Boyer basically told fans to eat shit on more than one occasion without any rebuking from ownership.

I think I'm a pretty big Sox fan, I have been one my entire life, it's a big part of my identity. I can tell you how I feel. They asked for patience as they lost on purpose for several seasons with the promise that they would spend the money and make the moves when the time came. That didn't ever happen.

They expect people to pay to watch this shit? Come on. I told the ticket rep I would send a check for $1620 tomorrow if he could give me two for the whole season on the 100 level. I don't want seats. I just need access to stand behind 162. They couldn't or DIDN'T WANT to make that happen. Get me and the guy I usually go with in the park and we'll spend $200 a game on beer. (Unless it was a Buehrle game. Not enough time to drink that much beer.) Just dumb.

And now what? I'm supposed to go watch Palacios and Rojas and wait for Colson Montgomery? Come on. There's no hope. Even though there are promising pitchers, what's the point? I've seen them give away Sale and Crochet for nothing. Why should I think the same thing won't happen with Smith and Schultz? There's no trust left.

Holy hell that is amazing that they would be so dumb to say something like that right now.

They have set a false expectation that they can only sustain winning in the majors via the minor league system which requires a 5 year full rebuild that has no certainty of success. Of course, we need a strong minor league system that to be sustainable, but spending money has to be part of the equation. Sox fans have no hope or expectation that they are ever going to be in competition for the best free agents nor should we be patient for a multi-year rebuild that still doesn't seem capable of producing homegrown offensive players.

You can see this team is on the verge of being just normal bad rather than historically awful the way they have been. They have some strong pitching in the pipeline. But how can you trust this front office to make the right moves or Jerry to spend the necessary money? What do they have to build around? A couple catchers and maybe Vargas? They're going to need to go out and fill several slots and not do it on the cheap. I'm not sure they have any intention of doing that and even if they do I'm even less sure they're capable of making the right decisions.

I get that you don't want to undermine your regular season ticket holders. The Hawks did that in some of the lean years prior to the Cup era when they StubHubbed seats on the glass for very low prices. What are the few "Season Reservation Holders" they had left at that point who are paying full boat supposed to think?

I had an argument with the ticket rep about ponying up for a 20 game package in January only to get to a game in July and have some guy who bought his ticket that day sitting two rows in front of me for a couple dollars less than I paid and the Sox gave him two free beers to boot. Even the postseason thing is a fake promise. I buy 20 games on the 100 level but in the rare event they make the playoffs I'm up in The Planet during the first round and that's all I get. But somehow Cub fan John Cusack and the cast of Chicago P.D. are in the seats I had for a quarter of the season.

I've already lost a lot of interest in the Sox and I don't appreciate the veiled threats to move the team either.
