What an arrogent piece of shit.......he is asked a question and he consistently proceeds to throw out stat after stat without directly answering one fucking question. Steve Stone is dead to me. |

Little wonder neither Pittsburgh or Houston interviewed the 60 year old genius for their GM openings, in fact, nobody in the last 10 years has interviewed Stone for a GM opening. Only chicgao fans think this douche knows what he is talking about. Baseball thinks he's an arrogant moron. I agree. |

It means he can break down the actual play on the field in an articulate, knowledgeable manner better than most analysts. While talking generally about teams and the overall state of baseball, his thoughts are often vague and hardly novel. |

I think he goes a great job of analyzing the game. Does he state the obvious sometimes ? Yes - it's baseball. |

The guy is a jack-ass. He constantly talks down to people. He comes across as disengenuine and doesn't really offer a whole lot of insight. Listen to how he answers questions. He throws out a lot of stats and information and never actually answers the question being asked. You are right, there is a reason he hasn't and will never be given a GM job. The owners are not idiots, they know how fraudulent he is. |
