Some security guards get paid well. Some better then radio producers. Look, all the guys who are producers can't be on the air. Just not enough room. It's not sad. It's the way it is. Not all of them deserve to be on the air either.

I just don't know how you go from being on the air in a major radio market to being a security guard. How does that happen?

He never had a show. You guys must be misunderstanding me; I'm not pining for the great return of an Eric Beverley. I'm just surprised that a guy goes from being a radio producer on a major show in a major market to being a security guard. Just an odd career move. That's all.

Producers at non-union WSCR make in the 20k's vs. Cook County union security guards make in the 40k's; so Eric didn't get a promotion but he got a big raise.
