Mitch, it is time for a shakeup. We all know it. U know it, I know it and even Mikie North knows it.

don't let the fact that Mike North's show is not totally sucking anymore be the reason you don't change. This is it! He is not going to do anything anymore. There will be no change, no improvement, no nothing.

Time to give Bernstein and Abatacola the morning gig. The money will come. They will be proactive, they know what they are doing and they might actually say things with facts and not make up words and scream at each just to show erveryone they are right.

Murph and North can do 10 - 2. It will be a good show, if they literally don't kill each other.

Boers, Mulligan and Fred? - Fred can drive the truck . We know TB is just along for the ride, Mulligan is a good show guy and works hard but has another gig and then you need a guy to make a few comments, but can run the show.

I love you're trying to think outside the box. It seems Score management is incapable of doing that, but I do respectfully
disagree with a few of your ideas.

Not sure if Bernstein would want to work with Abbatacola. No offense to him, but I'm not sure Abbatacola is smart enough to work with Bernstein on-air, on a daily basis (though some might argue whether Boers is). Fred isn't lead host material, in my opinion. I think Mulligan is a weak lead host as well, despite him and Brian having a decent show. That's why they are only on for 2 hours, though, in my opinon... because Mulli isnt a great lead host. Boers really needs someone with real energy. He doesn't put much effort with Bernstein, but he sounded great in the past with Abbatocola and Brian Paruch. Would he sound that way on a daily basis? I have my doubts.

I always proposed this as my Score lineup.

5:30a - 10:00a The First Call with Matt Abbatocola, Brian Paruch, and a veteran voice. . . George Offman (or maybe Joe Bartosch)

10:00 a - 12:00p Mulli and Hanley

12:00p - 2:00p Mike North (either solo or with Doug Buffone - maybe have Jiggetts guest co-host once a week or for an hour a day?)

2:00p - 6:00p Boers and Bernstein (as long as they stay number 1 or compete closely with MJH, I wouldn't break them up)

Evenings with no PBP - Rotation of Hosts. . . Bartosch, Jason Goff, Holmes, with a Pat Boyle from Comcast Sports or maybe Dan Jiggetts etc.

They pay North too much money to work middays. He has to work either morning or afternoon drive.

yes, but they are not paying him too much for that much longer

The Score will either boot him or offer him less money. North will likely take the less money and work a cushy two or three hour midday show. Then for six months, he'll brag how he did what was best for the station and took a paycut.

Seems to me if there is a shakeup coming, it's at AM1000, not the score.

I think AM 1000 should not make any changes after this messy summer that we had....

There have been some hints at this. How long is Happy Harry signed for?

Harry isn't going anywhere.

When is Mac's contract up?

You think North is gonna get a paycut, wait until you see what happens to Mackiefish.

I love the idea of a shake up.....here is how if by some demented act of God I was given authority at both stations to arrange the linup:

670 The Score:

5-9 Matt, Jason G. and Brian Paruch
9-12 Mully and David Haaaaaaauuuuuuuuuuugggggggggggghhhhhhhhhh
12-2 Mike North and Hub Archish (yeh, you heard me)
2-6 Boers and Bernstein
6-Late No Change Necessary
Weekends - No Change Necessary

Jessee Rogers, David Schuester, George Offman, Lawrence Holmes, Zac Zadman man the evenings and weekends........after Bear's season, Holmes, Zadman and Rogers get the prime evening and weekend slots until the Sox season starts. Fred Hubner is now an update man and fantasy guru.

ESPN 1000:

5-9 Mike and Mike
9-12 Silvy and Waddle
12-2 Mike Tirico
2-6 Mac and Jurko
6-9 "The Show" with Carmen and JD (during Bears season, you go with either Solo Carmen or Carmen and Ben Finfer)
9-11 Jay Hood Solo

Weekends:

Saturdays, you utilize Ben Finfer solo, Jay Hood solo, and Carmen solo or a mix of the above.......NO MORE NATIONAL ESPN RADIO ON THE WEEKENDS.

Bears Pregame: Silvy and Mac do Pregame
Bears Postgame: Silvy and Jurko do Postgame

IMO, if ESPN wants to hang with the score in the years ahead, it had better learn to utilize its best talent, Dan McNeal, in more than just the 2-6 slot. He is the one who can make ESPN a powerhouse.

Bye, bye to Harry, Chet, and McMichael.................

Forgive me if I left someone out.........

I am guessing you don't listen much after 6 pm or on weekends. Or maybe you do and you are being lulled to sleep at 7 pm weeknights and getting 20 hours of sleep on Saturday.

I'm glad Doug Buffone, Z2 and Laurence Holmes are getting more air time. Then again, I'm more of a football fan than a baseball fan.

I'm not a big fan of the two 2-hour shows - that's not enough time for the hosts to gain any momentum whatsoever.
