weak report in my opinion. I thought it would be a more entertaining read...but I think he was off base.

Mariotty is back at the pulpit. The timing of the column is interesting, a Saturday when no "regular" hosts are on and paper readership is higher.

Jay already blasted Boers in an earlier column.
As for Mac's thoughts, check out his section.

Love how Jay always finds time to kiss Mully and Hanleys asses because they work for the same newspaper. He even speaks good of Holmes, although Holmes sucks as a host. I think Jay is holding a grudge against both stations because his sorry ass can't get a show with either one.

Why is he writing about sports radio in Chicago? Why would the editor of the sun times let him write this? What's the point? He is supposed to give us his opinion on our sports teams, I don' care what he thinks about sports radio. If he doesnt like what he's hearing he can switch the station. If I were one of the hosts he is talking about I would not mention it at all. Why give Mariotti anymore attention that he obviously feels he is not getting enough of. Interesting how eventually he still got around to ripping Reinsdorf yet again. I give him credit for getting me to read something he wrote. It's been a while. How Mariotti and Telander keep their jobs is a mystery to me.

Technically, he is supposed to just give his opinion. Yes it should center around sports. This one hits somewhere on the perimeter.

Plus, as mentioned before, this was a thinly veiled, painful journey towards another obvious swipe at Reinsdorf.

Mariotti talking sports radio still is worlds better than Telander writing about global warming and other social issues.

I love how judgemental this horse's ass is, no one can be as outraged as him.

And yes Eddie Munster, I believe you that there is no bitterness whatsover in that diatribe.

He talks of censorship ( the meeting at Arby's portion of the column) and then advocates cencorship in his column on March 1)

"Back when college students used their brains, free speech was channeled in the form of anti-war protests. Today, kids abuse opposing basketball players. I'm not sure what it says about the comparative levels of intellect, but the vulgar cowardice on display inside campus arenas must be stopped by university presidents, athletic directors and coaches. Sadly, I can't say Illinois officials had much interest in stopping the anti-Gordon vitriol, with new information surfacing from Gordon that he dealt with vicious threats as the game approached."

What a rat turd hypocrite he is...smug c-sucker, go have a grabber and get your daddy to defend you some more, you little girl.
