Is the Steve Stone Show no longer on with Murph? Was listening today, and Mully and Hanely were having the Steve Stone Show. Was Stone tired of Murph and his bitching?

Why would Stone be different from every other person Murph has ever spoken to on, or off air.

He just confirmed it....

A guy just called in to give Murph tool of the week, and one of the callers gripes was that Murph constantly interrupts the guest that he may have on, and he gave Steve Stone as an example.

Murph then says "Well I don't interrupt Steve Stone anymore because he's no longer on my show"....and then he kinda gave a shot to Stone by saying that he interrupts him because of hios long winded answers, which a few of us on here have complained about with Stonie....

It was appointment radio. I loved how Stone tore apart several of Murphy's statements, especially "Jacque Jones is a loser". The tension was palatable. You could sense Murph's rising temperature during some of these debates.
It doesn't surprise me that Murphy would continue to defend his actions.
Just add another name to the Murph alienation list.

Murph's lack of sight on Cubs issues is also a sticking point.
Too many times he appears to either be blindly loyal or in a blind rage on Cubs topics. In one case he was in a blind rage based on his loyalty to Cubs announcer Ron Santo. Murph's memorable 20-plus minute rant on how a lot of Chicago fans hate Santo was priceless audio. No numbers to back on his attack, but the venom came out anyway.

I heard it during the course of the day, but Stone asked to go on Mulli and Hanley, which I guess is way of asking not to be on Muphs show any longer. I dont need to hear stone, so it dont matter to me, but it appears Murph is doing his best bad employee act to get everyone to hate him there.
