From Ted Cox's column today: WMVP 1000-AM held steady with a 1.4 percent share of the overall audience 12 and older in monthly Arbitrend ratings released this week to squeeze back ahead of WSCR 670-AM, which slipped to a 1.3 share. |

And this tells us what about the value of having the Sox on your station? 1. The diary (and dairy) keepers don't give a flip 2. It's baked in anyhow 3. There's some negative listenership numbers, being offset by the Sox ratings. |

And here I thought the Cubs would ruin the first place Sox/first place Cubs/first place Score spots. As for the "fucking awful midday show," doesn't Murph pretty much lead Anglophone stations in Chicago during his timeslot? It seems silly to blame the Score's ratings drop on their highest-rated talent. |
