Kind of buried in Fred Mitchell's Sunday Trib column: "WSCR-AM 670 midday host Mike Murphy, who has logged more than 16 years with the station, has signed a multiyear extension." |

Good for him. Just please, for goodness sakes, get the man a co-host. He just is not very good by himself. |

Maybe with the new contract for Murph it's been determined that Murph will do 4 hours. The 10-2 shift. |

I think the guy has turned into a total asshole over the years, but he has a fan base and his ratings do well. I dont listen much and when I do, it can really only be for 5 minutes. |

This is good news. The SCORE needs to take better care of its originals. Swami Crown Moldy says "Iiiiiiiiii predict Murph will keep the 12-2 slot after Jiggets and Bruce Wolf (Wolfe?) in North's old slot, and then M & H." The SCORE would not insult Murph by giving M&H, two newcomers compared to him, the morning slot. After all, Murph actually beat Mike and Mike in that time slot. |

I haven't listened to the SCORE in the last several days, just "runnin' on...runnin' on empty." I hope these new promos aren't promoting M&H as the new morning show. SCORE listeners deserve better. Tell me more. |
