Longtime morning radio news anchor Pat Cassidy is leaving his post at WBBM-AM (780) to accept a new position as a talk show host on WLS-AM (890). Cassidy has been at the former WMAQ-AM (670) as morning anchor until moving to WBBM when WMAQ became WSCR in 2000. Hello? McFly? This isn't breaking news! Besides, "The Big 89" has NO INTEREST in Mike North!!! If you connect the dots, Pat Cassidy and morning drive seem to go hand in hand. If WLS-AM doesn't renew Don Wade & Roma's contract this November, the smart $$$$ seems to point at Pat doing morning drive or New York's old fart Don Imus via syndication if bosses of Citadel Broadcasting, the former ABC Radio, have their way...
