If I didn't know better, I would think this partnership was only conceived because both hosts' surnames start with the letter H. I wonder if Larry will insist on redubbing the "Boers! and Bernstein!" jingle to say "Holmes! and Hampton!"

The new show is the Hampton and Holmes show which has to really have little Larry steamed. That should be the name of the section as it is the name of the show. I like The Intern and the U-Turn as Larry always strikes me as a very junior guy trying to move up...a permanent intern. Also, I believe Hamps got his DUI after making an illegal u-turn but I'm not sure of that. I just want Hamps to talk over Urkel until the show is cancelled. Larry is just plain terrible.

In all seriousness, as much of a tool I think Laurence can be sometimes, the name of this show should be Holmes & Hamptom and NOT Hamptom & Holmes. Much like the Waddle & Silvy show on AM-1000 ESPN, Silvy carries that show and has been prominent at the station for a long time. Same on 670, regardless what one thinks of Holmes, he is going to carry this new show. Hamptom probably will be asleep the second hour.

If that's the case we need to change the name of the afternoon show as well...
